Abby Rose – Interior Designer
For over 20 years, as Architexture's owner and principal interior designer, I've been designing homes based on the idea that – first and foremost – each project must reflect the needs and desires of the client. And while I often work with clients in my store, I see the world as their oyster and will use any resource or vendor that provides the required product or service.
Full Service Interior Design
I provide full service interior design whether I'm designing an entirely new home, doing a remodel or revamping individual rooms. My objective is to create an environment that enhances the space and provides the client with both comfort and style.
If a client provides photographs of what they already have, I can help them select furniture, lighting, decorative accessories or wall decor that will compliment or complete their design.
I often visit a client's home to help them arrange and decorate a room or rooms or aid them in completing what has already been started. Of course, if a complete make over is required, in addition to a number of on-site visits, the project will involve the creation of floor plans, the choosing of color schemes, paint colors, wall treatments or wallpaper, furniture styles, fabric selection for upholstery and window treatments as well rugs, lighting and flooring.
The ArchiteXture Advantage
One of the benefits of having ARCHITEXTURE as my base of operations, is that I shop the market on a regular basis and know where to find almost anything one could possibly desire in furniture, lighting, fabric and accessories. And if I can't locate what my client wants in the market place, I work with wonderful craftsmen that can create what is unavailable or modify what must be customized
A room – as well as a home – must be viewed in its entity. This is why I provide my clients with a full range of interior design services that include every aspect family-friendly home design. I am ever mindful of the direction my clients want to go, whether it's in style or budget.
One of the most important facets of this process is the relationship between the designer and the client. I pride myself on being sensitive to my client's wishes as well as their personality. It is a very personal relationship that develops, and it is important to me to understand each client in order to make sure that they are happy and comfortable in their home when the project is completed.
